This one is not a good memory, and why I do not like going to places where people are gambling.
Unfortunately, my father was absent most of the time, but he was also a compulsive gambler along with many other things and being a workaholic.
I vividly remember when I was a small boy, my father used to work work work,
when he used to draw for the Navy apartment, and he used to draw navigational gyroscopes.
After he’d done that, he rolled up the drawings on vellum paper, jumped on the bus, and went to the office.
He picked up money and downstairs from the Navy department office was a big bar.
Then, my dad used to spend most of his time selling his drawings in the bar gambling. And at times he would take me, and I just hated it.
So, please don’t ask me to go gambling, it creates a very with me bad reaction,

Well, seems we had the same memory about our fathers. When I was a little girl, my father would also work very, very hard for several days. He was an ice vendor. After his work, he will buy all our needs for one week especially food. Then he would be gone. After a day or two, my mother would tell me to go to our neighbor’s house and check if my father was in that place around our area instructing me not to go near him. Just check, she told . me. After checking, I would go home and told my mother that he was in that house, gambling.
